The Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, launched the first activity of the “Mawadah Initiative” within the presidential initiative under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.

In cooperation between the Ministries of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the leadership of Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater, Head of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Al-Bayoumi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Amina El-Nemr, Dean of the College, and Prof. Dr. Abeer Zakaria, Vice President of the College. For education and student affairs and coordination by Mrs. Dina Abu Al-Ela, the university’s coordinator in the initiative

The first day of implementing training for the national project to preserve the Egyptian family entity includes the “Mawadah Initiative”

An introductory symposium that dealt with the psychological and social aspects of family life, the definition of marriage and its goals, the criteria for choosing a life partner, the characteristics of a life partner, factors for the success of married life, family problems, their causes and ways to deal with them, health and medical aspects of family life, misconceptions related to married life, and elements of pre-marital care, aspects Legality and religion in family life. The students were also divided into work groups, and representative scenes were performed on positive and negative forms of communication between spouses to train the students on the correct methods of family communication.

It is worth noting that the Mawadah Initiative is a presidential initiative to preserve the entity and reunite Egyptian families to qualify young people about to marry in all governorates of Egypt, as the Ministry of Social Solidarity began to spread it within Egyptian institutes and universities. This initiative comes from the state’s interest in the category of students of institutes and universities and making them aware of the importance of establishing a family. Within the framework of friendliness and compassion among themselves, to maintain stability, hand in hand

And Mr/ Ahmed Al-Ashry, General Director of Student Care at the University, and Mrs/ Marwa Muhammad, Director of Student Care at the College, and Mr / Wagdy Dowidar, responsible for artistic activity at the College, and the Student Care family at the College, a theatrical performance was performed entitled “Dhay Al-Awali,” written by Abdullah Al-Maddah and directed by Zaki Tharwat, on Sunday, 3/ -12/2023 at seven o’clock at the Faculty of Law Theater.

Faculty of Nursing - Mansoura University received the technical support team consisting of Prof. Imad Ahmed Shalaby - Quality and Prof. Ahmed Abdel Wahab Ahmed- international academic accreditation experts by the faculty administration represented by the Dean Prof. Amina Al-Nemer and Director of the Quality Assurance Unit, Prof. Jihan Al-Nabawi, and the Vice deans of the Faculty.

The visit took place on Saturday and Sunday, in December 2,3 2023, where the expertise team made an internally and externally comprehensive tour of the faculty, that included inspecting all laboratories and classrooms related to the educational process, examining the faculty website, and holding meetings with all faculty employees in order to make observations of the preparation for the international accreditation visit by the organization (German Accreditation Agency in Health and Social Sciences).

The experts recommended some recommendations that the faculty administration will make to complete preparations for the actual visit by the German International Organization (AHPGs).

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater - President of Mansoura University and Dr. Mohamed Attia - Vice President of 
the University for Education and Student Affairs and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Tariq Ghaloush - Vice President of the 
University for Postgraduate Studies and Research and Prof. Dr. Amina El-Nemer - Dean of the Faculty of Nursing. 
Prof. Abeer Zakaria - Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs and a group of deans, deans, 
faculty members and student directors at the university colleges participating in the festival. 
The Scouts team of the Youth Development Center at Mansoura Stadium and the Egypt Library Scouts team led by 
Commander Mohamed Abdel Fattah participated in the opening of the festival.
