• Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University was established in 1994 by Presidential Decree No. 287 of 1994 and aims to graduate qualified nursing specialists for the labor market in various health institutions.
• The Faculty received the first class in the academic year 1994/1995 and its number of 27 students and began studying on 5 November 1994
• The first batch was graduated in the academic year 1997/1998.
• The Faculty graduated (25) batches from 1997/1998 until 2022/2023
• Established the first quality assurance unit in the faculty on 5/6/2005 funded by the QAAP project (the establishment of an internal system for quality assurance and accreditation)
• The Faculty received a project of continuous development and qualification for accreditation CIQAP with funding of 10570200 LE in 2008
• The Faculty moved to the new building in 2007/2008 which has an area of 1400 m 2 x 5 floors = 7000 m 2 + campus 572 = 7572 m 2, the student's share is 4.50 m 2
• The Faculty welcomed students of both sexes (males and females) in 2008/2009
• Registration for postgraduate studies for master's and doctoral degrees was opened in 2009 in the majority of scientific departments in the faculty.
• The first batch of both sexes (male and female) was graduated in 2012/2013
• The internal regulations of the Faculty of Nursing (for the bachelor stage) have been converted to a list of credit hours system by Ministerial Decision No. (3269) dated 16/8/2012 and commencing in 2013/2014
• The Ethics Committee for Scientific Research was established in 2012 to publish awareness and activation of ethics of scientific research and review of scientific research in accordance with the principles of research ethics.
• The Faculty has introduced new graduate programs such as:
• Master degree of infection prevention and control. "Master of Infection Prevention and Control" on 24/2/2014 and was accepted (14) students for the academic year 2016/2017.
• The professional master's degree in health care practices based on evidence based credit hours system on 30/12/2013 and the start of work in 2017/2018 and the admission of (25) students is the only program at the level of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the regional level.
• Diploma preparation of the oldest companion system credit hours on 30/12/2013.
• The Faculty of Nursing was accredited by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation in August 2014 and obtained the accreditation certificate to meet the national standards.
• The Faculty got a piece of land corresponding to the Faculty area of 750 meters and was approved by the Committee of the facilities session (3) on 14/2/2017 and the University Council No. (526) in April on 29/4/2017 to establish an educational extension of the faculty.
• The faculty has been publishing Mansoura Nursing Journal since 2014
• the Faculty completed its 25 years of existence (Silver Jubilee) in 2018/2019.

 Master's Degree in Nursing Sciences for each discipline.

Master's degree in infection control and prevention (Credit Hours System).

Master's degree in evidence-based health care (Credit Hours System).

Doctorate degree in nursing sciences for each of the disciplines of the faculty departments.

Scientific Degrees awarded by the Technical Institute of Nursing affiliated to the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University:

1. Diploma of the Technical Institute of Nursing.
2. Diploma of bridging program to obtain the diploma of the Technical Institute of Nursing.
3. Diploma of Specialized Program in Nursing.
