The second activity (Mawaddah Initiative) within the presidential initiative
The Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, launched the first activity of the “Mawadah Initiative” within the presidential initiative under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.
In cooperation between the Ministries of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the leadership of Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater, Head of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Al-Bayoumi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Amina El-Nemr, Dean of the College, and Prof. Dr. Abeer Zakaria, Vice President of the College. For education and student affairs and coordination by Mrs. Dina Abu Al-Ela, the university’s coordinator in the initiative

The first day of implementing training for the national project to preserve the Egyptian family entity includes the “Mawadah Initiative”
An introductory symposium that dealt with the psychological and social aspects of family life, the definition of marriage and its goals, the criteria for choosing a life partner, the characteristics of a life partner, factors for the success of married life, family problems, their causes and ways to deal with them, health and medical aspects of family life, misconceptions related to married life, and elements of pre-marital care, aspects Legality and religion in family life. The students were also divided into work groups, and representative scenes were performed on positive and negative forms of communication between spouses to train the students on the correct methods of family communication.
It is worth noting that the Mawadah Initiative is a presidential initiative to preserve the entity and reunite Egyptian families to qualify young people about to marry in all governorates of Egypt, as the Ministry of Social Solidarity began to spread it within Egyptian institutes and universities. This initiative comes from the state’s interest in the category of students of institutes and universities and making them aware of the importance of establishing a family.
