Under the patronage of professor DR. Amina El Nemr: "Dean of Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University" and with the coordination of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing Department, The faculty has hosted a workshop today on the 27th of July 2017 about sleep disorders. Professor Nevein Zaky associate professor of Psychiatry, Faculty of medicine, mansoura university and Dr. Nesrene El Morsy Lecturer of chest diseases, Faculty of medicine, Mansoura university have presented and demonstrated stages of sleep, sleep disorders, and basics of sleep lab.
Final year students of faculty of nursing,academic staff of psychiatric and mental health nursing, and nursing specialists from Mansoura University hospital have attended the workshop.

On Wednesday 12th of April, the pediatric nursing department, faculty of nursing, Mansoura University was held workshop entitled "Child Rights and Patient safety" under the patronage of Prof/ Mohamed Kenawy - President of Mansoura University

The workshop aims at improving patient safety and increase awareness about child right in the hospital and in the community.
This workshop was characterized by the active participation of Prof / Phyllis Sharps, PhD, RN, FAAN | Professor Elsie M. Lawler Endowed Chair, Associate Dean for Community Programs and Initiatives Johns Hopkins University, School of Nursing, Baltimore, MD, USA.
Prof/ Phyllis, was participated via video conference focused on “Protecting the Rights and Safety of Children” below was the link of the presentation.

Also, there was active participation from Prof/ Donna.A.Dawling, Professor of neonatal nursing, Case Western Reserve University, USA
She is focused on "Caring about Preemies Safe sleep"
It's worth to mention that the workshop considers a good chance for the participation of expert professor inside the faculty and outside in Egypt and in USA.

Under the patronage of Dr. Amina Mohamed Rashad El-Nemer "Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University" and Prof. Wafaa Jameel Mohamed Ali "Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs", under the supervision of Dr. Fadia Ahmed Abdel Qader "Coordinator of the Vocational Guidance Office Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University" had organized today 19 March, 2017, an introductory meeting for Dar El Fouad Hospital, 6th of October, Cairo, by hosting Dar El Fouad Hospital delegation to introduce Internship students with the hospital system and ways to join the hospital team.
Prof. Dr. Amina Al-Nemr " Faculty Dean" welcomed Dar El Fouad Hospital delegation and praised the idea of the meeting to support graduates and encourage them to work in a special hospital with a distinctive character and service. While, Prof. Wafaa Jamil Mohammed Ali "Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs" had encouraged internship students to join such hospitals in order to raise the professional practical level of nursing.
The delegation, consisting of Mrs. / Mariana Matte "Director of the nursing staff at Dar Elfouad Hospital" who presented a lecture about the hospital and its services; Mrs. /Salawi Abdel Fattah "Director of the intensive care unit in the hospital" presented a lecture about the most important benefits offered by the hospital to its employees. One of the attendees was Mr. / Islam Mohammed Ahmad "Nursing Specialist at Cardiac Unit in Dar El Fouad Hospital" who is one of the faculty nursing graduates. The delegation praised the graduates of the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University level of performance and wishes for continuous collaboration between the Dar Elfouad Hospital and Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University in the future.

Mansoura University organized a workshop with Scientific British Council about "internationalization of higher education at Mansoura University in Egypt" Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Kenawy "President of Mansoura University" and Entrepreneurship Dr. Ashraf Abdel Basset "Vice President for Education and Student Affairs" and with the presence of Dr. Ashraf Sweilem – "Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research" , and Prof. Dr. Zaki Zidane "Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development" and Deans and vice Deans of faculties of medicine, nursing, pharmacy, education, and science and directors of special programs and directors of research centers at Mansoura University to discuss ways of cooperation between Mansoura University and British universities in scientific research, teaching and student exchange.
