Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abeer Mohamed Zakaria, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Widad Saber, Student Activities Coordinator, Mrs. Marwa Mohamed, Director of Youth Welfare, and Mr. Ahmed Abdelwahid, Head of Student Affairs, the Nursing Students’ Union at Mansoura University continues to welcome new students applying to the faculty for the 2024–2025 academic year, now entering its second week.
The Students’ Union extended heartfelt congratulations to the newly admitted students on their acceptance into the faculty and provided full support in completing their admission paperwork. The Union also assisted them with their enrollment procedures and responded to all their inquiries, ensuring a smooth transition into university life.

The Faculty of Nursing participated in the First Empowerment Forum for Mansoura University Students, held at Mansoura University’s permanent student camp in Gamasa. The forum took place from August 23 to 28 and included a diverse program of seminars, panel discussions, and workshops designed to empower students and develop their skills in leadership, entrepreneurship, sustainable development, and social responsibility.
The forum aimed to instill the values of leadership, belonging, and volunteerism, while preparing a conscious generation capable of facing future challenges and contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The program featured specialized workshops on labor market readiness and entrepreneurship, in addition to religious, cultural, and social seminars that sought to raise student awareness of national issues and broaden their horizons of thinking and creativity. The forum also included open dialogue sessions with members of Parliament and university leaders, giving students the opportunity to gain exposure to diverse experiences in public work and civil society.

The five-a-side football league for students of the Faculty of Nursing and the Technical Institute of Nursing was held from October 15th to 20th, 2025.
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Abeer Mohamed Zakaria, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, and Professor Dr. Awatif Hassan Qassem, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Nursing for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Dr. Wedad Saber, Student Activities Coordinator, and organized by the Student Welfare Department at the Faculty of Nursing, Ms. Marwa Mohamed, Director of Student Welfare, Mr. Ibrahim Abdel Hamid, Sports Activity Supervisor, and the Faculty's Student Union, in cooperation with the "For Egypt" family, the five-a-side football league for students of the Faculty of Nursing and the Technical Institute of Nursing was held from October 15th to 20th, 2025.
The league matches took place in an atmosphere of fair play and teamwork, with the attendance and support of faculty members and student activity coordinators. The students demonstrated outstanding levels of skill and organization.
The tournament concluded with the first-year team, "Asdiqa' Masoud" (Friends of Masoud), winning first place and the championship cup after a strong and exciting match against the second-year team, "XO," which ended with a score of 5-4 in favor of "Asdiqa' Masoud." The College of Nursing expresses its pride and appreciation for the outstanding athletic performance of the students, and calls for the continuation of such activities that promote belonging and sportsmanship among university students.
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Abeer Zakaria, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and under the leadership of Professor Dr. Fatima El-Imam, Director of the Technical Nursing Institute, alongside Dr. Asmaa Mostafa, Deputy Director of the Technical Nursing Institute, the Ramadan Tournament for Nursing Students at Mansoura University concluded in spirited Ramadan atmosphere.
The event was supervised by Dr. Widad Saber, Student Activities Coordinator, Ms. Marwa Mohamed, Student Welfare Director, Coach Ibrahim Suleiman, Sports Activity Specialist, and supported by the Nursing Students’ Union.
Professor Dr. Fatima El-Imam, together with the Student Welfare team — Ms. Marwa Mohamed, Coach Ibrahim Suleiman, Ms. Sara Mohamed (Cultural Activity Supervisor), and Ahmed Moawad (representative of the College Student Union) — presented the tournament trophy, medals, and awards to the top teams.
In the final standings, the Second Year team of the Technical Nursing Institute (Al-Mahallawyah) won first place, while the El-Gamaleya team secured second place.

The Faculty of Nursing qualified for the quarter-finals of the Mansoura University Football League as first in the fourth group, which includes (Faculty of Nursing - Physical Education - Science - Al-Wafideen - Fine Arts) after defeating the College of Science in the last round With a result of 3/2, the College of Specific Education meets the second group,

Announce The Sports Committee of the College of Nursing Student Union, in cooperation with the Students for Egypt family at the college, decided to hold Raya Day An entertainment event that includes (chess, table tennis, billiards, basketball, arm wrestling, a running competition, a rope tug, and some other recreational games) on Tuesday, 11/23/2023, in front of the college courtyard.
