Participation of the Critical Care and Emergency Nursing Department in the eighth scientific fair as apart of the events of the twelfth book fair at Mansoura University
in conjunction with Mansoura University's celebrations of the golden jubilee of the victories October. Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Attia Al-Bayoumi, Vice President of Mansoura University for Education and Student Affairs, inaugurated the “Twelfth Mansoura University Book Fair” on Monday, 10/23/2023. The fair is organized by the university's Central Library and runs from 23/10 to 2/11/2023.in the presence of Prof. Dr. Amina Al-Nimr - Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Abeer Zekria - Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs and Prof. Dr. / Nahed Attia Kandeel - Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs , group of deans and vice-deans of various faculties, assistant university secretaries, Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Rizk - Director of the Digital Library Unit at Mansoura University and Acting Director General of University Libraries, a number of professors, researchers and students at the university participation in the fair. The Critical Care and Emergency Nursing Department, under the heading of Prof. Dr. Hala Ahmed Abdel Rahman, participated in the scientific fair with numerous models and posters for undergraduate and post graduate students. The fair included variety of innovative student activities (first aid kit - a maquette of the intensive care unit) organized by Dr/Eman Yasser -Lecturer of critical care and emergency nursing and D/Eman Rashad - Demonstrator at the Department of Critical Care and Emergency Nursing. The following also participated:

- A.L./ Afnan Attia , Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Critical Care and Emergency Nursing, with an illustrative poster about her master’s thesis under the title
“ The effect of foot massage on the intensity of pain associated with the removal of a chest tube in patients undergoing open-heart surgery ". ALso, Prof. Wafa Wahdan, assistant professor of critical care and emergency nursing, and Dr. Asmaa Mohamed, a critical care nursing instructor, were both honored to be attending. Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater commended and honored the fair participants for their efforts. He continued by saying that one of the most crucial methods for advancing scientific research- which helps the university's ranking- is the book fair .

In 18/10/2023 Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, and at the invitation of Prof. Dr. Amina El-Nemr, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing
The Arab Council for Health Specialties (Arab Board), which was established pursuant to the decision of the Council of Arab Ministers of Health, visited the College of Nursing in the presence of Prof. Dr. Myrna Abi Abdullah Doumit, Representative of the Arab Board for Health Specialties, Dr. Aisha bint Salem Al-Maamaria, and Dr. Kawthar Mahmoud, head of the Egyptian Nursing Syndicate and member. Senate and Dr. Omaima Sobhi, head of the Dakahlia Nursing Syndicate.
Department of Critical Care and Emergency Nursing, headed by Prof. Dr. Hala Ahmed Abdel Rahman, and in the presence of all faculty members and their assistants, was at the reception of the delegation, They accompanied them during their inspection tour inside the college and during their visit to the critical care laboratory and inside the university hospitals.
The meeting took place with faculty members and students, and Prof. Dr. Amina El-Nimr indicated that Egypt is the first country to implement the Arab Board in the specialty of emergency and disaster nursing at the Faculty of Nursing - Mansoura University, and that this visit is to find out the methods of communication and the suggestions presented by the college and Discussing the job title of Arab Board graduates and some of the advantages that qualify them to carry out precise nursing tasks, carry out supervisory functions in the same field, and improve the quality of nursing services in health institutions because Arab Board graduates are distinguished graduates, which is the highest degree in studying and practicing the nursing profession in the Arab world.
Prof. Dr. Nahed Kandeel, Vice Dean of the College for Postgraduate Studies and Research, explained that there are some difficulties, including the lack of clarity about the features learned from the program, the extent of recognition of graduates’ job settlement, the Ministry of Health’s recognition of the value of the certificate, and also the lack of clear mechanisms for dealing with master’s and doctoral holders applying for the Arab Board.
And achieving the greatest possible degree of integration and cooperation in the field of training between the Arab Council for Health Specialties and the councilsNational councils and bodies of expertise. There is no doubt that the Arab countries and Egypt feel the benefit that results from cooperation in meeting training needs in terms of quantity and quality.

A ceremony to welcome new students to the faculty was held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, in conjunction with the induction week for new students and in honor of Mr. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Attia Al-Bayoumi, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs. The MP opened the Student Activities fair and Scientific fair for the Practical Departments, including the Critical Care and Emergency Nursing Department. Numerous models, brochures, and posters related to student activities were presented. Dr. Eman Yasser Hamouda, one of the Scientific Department's representatives at the fair, presented a brief overview of the Scientific Department's definition. also, the department's vision and mission, as well as its student's activities. Both the faculty's dean and vice dean praised the scientific department's efforts to enhance the educational system and expressed their admiration for the Innovative ideas of the faculty students.
