Because your health matters to us
The Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, established an educational symposium entitled: Towards a conscious generation for awareness, after participating with the National Council for Women in Dakahlia and honoring a group of council members under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Amina Shalabi, graduate of the National Council for Women in Dakahlia and former Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels.

The symposium was attended by more than 100 male and female students, providing awareness about the danger of breast cancer, how prevent it is, how to diagnose and treat it, and the elements of health education that should be left to every girl, including following breast self-examination on a monthly basis, having a physical examination with a doctor, and the necessary radiology including MAMOGRAM especially for the most vulnerable ladies.

The symposium had a practical aspect, as attendees were trained to practice clinical breast examination using the college’s educational module.
