Faculty of Nursing at Mansoura University Organizes a Medical Convoy to Support Community Health
Under the patronage of Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, and the leadership of Dr. Tarek Mostafa Ghaloush, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research and Supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, the Faculty of Nursing at Mansoura University organized a medical convoy as part of its community role and its commitment to supporting the health of its members and enhancing quality of life within the university community.
The convoy was organized under the supervision of Dr. Abeer Zakaria, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, and Dr. Fatma El-Emam, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, in cooperation with Dr. Gamal Shiha, Chairman of the Board of the Dakahlia Association for Liver Patients Care.
The convoy witnessed significant turnout from faculty members, teaching assistants, administrative staff, employees, and students. A large number of beneficiaries received medical services covering several important specialties, including medical laboratory tests (complete blood count and hepatitis B and C screening), internal medicine examinations, abdominal and liver ultrasound scans, therapeutic nutrition services, dermatology, and other integrated healthcare services.
The medical services were delivered by a specialized team of physicians and consultants from various specialties, contributing to the provision of comprehensive and high-quality healthcare services to the beneficiaries.
During the event, several participants were honored in recognition of their efforts in supporting and implementing the convoy, reflecting the faculty’s commitment to appreciating distinguished contributions that contributed to the success of the event and the achievement of its community goals.
