Workshop on the 6th of October at Faculty of Nursing – Mansoura University
Continuation of the system of work and outstanding performance within Mansoura University, which does not stop work and achievement even on official holidays.
The Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, with the support of the university administration, Prof. Ashraf Abdel Baset - President of the University and Prof. Mohamed Attia Al-Bayoumi - Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and chaired by Prof. Amina Al-Nimr - Dean of the Faculty on Monday, 6 October, 2019 a training workshop for faculty members under the title of "Thinking Matters" as a tool for institutional excellence in developing the capabilities and skills of members in education and evaluation and a step to the international accreditation of academic institutions in creative education from the University of Exeter, UK. The workshop was attended by Vice Deans of the Faculty and nearly 50 faculty members. And lectured by Prof. Moqbel Zakaria - Executive Director and Official Representative of the English-language Thinking "Matters" Company in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Ms. Shirin Bakri - The main Certified Trainer of the Program, Iman Abdel Salam - Senior Certified Trainer of the Program.
That's where the Faculty seeks to be the Thinking Institute that support the creative thinking in order to instill creative thinking skills in educational programs and curricula. As well as supporting faculty members and staff to graduate students who are able to think creatively and keep abreast of technological developments in the society in general, especially the health field and the implementation of the State Plan 2030 with graduates who keep pace and achieve the goals of the state in the health system and for the first time at the level of local and international universities the system of creative thinking will be implemented as a beginning for the transition to educational institutions that based on thinking and innovation.
