Opening the induction week for new Faculty of Nursing students' - Mansoura University
On Sunday, 22 September 2019, the Faculty of Nursing - Mansoura University organized a celebration week for new students, within the presence of Prof. Ashraf Abdel Baset - President of Mansoura University and Prof. Mohamed Attia Bayoumi - Vice President for Education and Student Affairs and the leadership of Prof. Amina El Nemr - Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University and Prof. Wafaa Gamil - Vice Dean For Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Wafaa Fathi - Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Abeer Zakaria - Vice Dean for Postgraduate and Research, Prof. Sherif Keshk - Director of ICT Center, Dr. Ahmed El-Adl - The Responsible for Student Communication At Mansoura University , and the Student / Bahaa Abou El-Enein, President of the University Students Union.
The organization for the celebration was under supervision of student comunication committee headed by Dr Ahmed Hashim and the youth welfare department headed by Mrs. Marwa Mohamed, the director of youth welfare in the faculty and headed by the student SabriMakiya, president of the student union in the faculty.
Prof. Wafaa Jamil stressed the readiness of students' affairs to provide assistance to new students by supporting the academic registration of new students with the help of academic advisors from faculty members in different scientific departments.
Prof. Amina Al-Nemr, Dean of the Faculty, expressed her delight at the students' enrollment in the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, which is accredited by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation.She explained that the faculty has a vision and mission that it seeks to achieve under the state strategy 2030 and that the new students will perform their role to the fullest to renew the accreditation of the faculty at the current stage not only by excellence in the scientific field, but in all various fields and activities.
Prof. Mohamed Attia Bayoumi welcomed the new students and wished them a happy academic year and congratulated them on their admission to Mansoura University, the distinguished university locally and internationally, and their selection of the Faculty of Nursing, which is one of the landmarks of Mansoura University. He expressed his appreciation for the high profession of nursing. Also, he urged them to remember well in order to raise themselves, their university and their country.
Prof. Ashraf Abdel Basset, President of Mansoura University, stressed that the period of enrollment of new students in university is an indelible period of memory, this period in which the student is completely dependent on himself and that his personality is burdened on the social, scientific and cultural level. Also, he encouraged them to participate in various activities and skills related to the acquisition of language and skills that help them to keep up with the labor market.
He praised the teaching and learning methods at the faculty, which always lead to the graduation of a superior student scientifically and practically. Additionally, He congratulated the faculty on the acquisition of the student Mayada Sobhi first place standardized tests, which were held at the level of the nursing sector at the level of the Republic.
Moreover, He stressed the need to follow the rules governing relations on campus, whether between students and each other or students and faculty members or students and university staff to complete the integrated system of Mansoura University.
