Meeting for International Undergraduate Students at the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University
As part of the continuous follow-up for international students at the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, and in line with the directives of Prof. Dr. Abir Mohamed Zakaria, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs and Acting Dean of the Faculty, aimed at overcoming any obstacles faced by international students in their academic journey, a meeting was held for international undergraduate students enrolled at the faculty.
The meeting was attended by:
- Prof. Dr. Wafa Hamid El-Shafie, Associate Professor of Community Health Nursing and Coordinator of the International Students Unit
- Dr. Eman Yasser, Lecturer in Critical Care Nursing and Deputy Coordinator of International Students for Education and Student Affairs
- Dr. Amina Hassan, Lecturer in Nursing Administration and Deputy Coordinator of International Students for Postgraduate Studies and Research
- Mr. Ahmed Abdel Wahid, Head of the Student Affairs Department at the Faculty
The meeting focused on identifying challenges faced by international students, discussing ways to address these challenges, and reviewing what had been achieved during the past academic year. Plans for preparing for the new academic year were also discussed.
Prof. Dr. Wafa Hamid El-Shafie emphasized the faculty's commitment to providing full support for international students and reiterated the importance of continuous communication between students and academic departments.
At the end of the meeting, students expressed their deep appreciation for the cooperation of the Faculty Administration and the International Students Unit, and they thanked the faculty for the comprehensive support provided to international students.
