Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abdel Baset, President of Mansoura University, announced the progress of the University's ranking among the best universities in the world in the classification of `` CWUR '' of universities for 2019-2020, which was announced, where the university ranked 897 globally among more than 20,000 participating universities . Also ranked third in the level of Egyptian universities.

His Excellency stated that the University is moving forward towards achieving its goal of competing in international rankings within the framework of the strategy set by the university in this regard. in addition to the efforts led by the International Classification Committee in cooperation with the sectors and departments of the University to achieve the highest participation of the University in various international classifications, pointing out that the University's progress in the international rankings of universities is regarded as an important achievement that reflects the university's scientific and research role and its efforts to improve the educational and research level by encouraging researchers to publish international excellence and support the dissemination of research in international journals with high impact.
