Launch of the Internship Training Program for Intensive Program Students at the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University (Academic Year 2025–2026)
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University;
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs;
Prof. Dr. Abeer Mohamed Zakaria, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing;
Prof. Dr. Fatma El Imam, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development;
and Prof. Dr. Amira Abdel Moneim, Academic Coordinator of the Internship Program.
The activities of the internship training program for intensive program students commenced at the Computer Laboratory of the Faculty. The sessions were conducted by a distinguished group of faculty members from the Department of Critical Care and Emergency Nursing.
The training extended over two consecutive weeks, as follows:
Day One: Tuesday, September 23, 2025
Training topics included:
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
Oxygen therapy and nebulization sessions
Performing electrocardiogram (ECG) procedures
Day Two: Tuesday, September 30, 2025
Training topics included:
Measurement of central venous pressure (CVP)
Nasogastric tube feeding
Endotracheal suctioning
Arterial blood sampling and interpretation of results
