The orientation week activities for new nursing students continue for the fourth consecutive day

 

Within the framework of the Faculty of Nursing - Mansoura University's interest in welcoming its new students and introducing them to the various programs and services offered by the college to support their educational journey, the orientation week activities continued for the fourth consecutive day, amidst a distinguished interaction and attendance from the students. This was under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Attia El-Bayoumi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Abeer Mohamed Zakaria, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing. The fourth day included several important introductory sessions:

Dr. Dalia El-Said, Director of the Credit Hours Program, gave a detailed explanation of the credit hour program, explaining the study mechanism, its advantages, and the opportunities it provides to students, while answering their inquiries about registration methods and transferring between academic levels

Assistant Professor Rasha Hassan Abbas, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, and Dr. Narges Fathy Al-Refaei, a representative of the unit, gave an introductory presentation on the role of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the college, explaining its importance in ensuring the quality of the educational process through developing examination systems, preparing question banks, and analyzing results to raise the efficiency of educational outcomes.

Dr. Dina Ismail, Academic Advising Coordinator at the college, provided students with a comprehensive definition of the concept of academic advising and the mechanism of academic registration. She explained the role of the academic advisor in following up on the student throughout their educational journey and providing the necessary support to help them overcome any difficulties or challenges.

Dr. Eman Ahmed Fadel, Director of the Information Technology Unit, reviewed the objectives of the Information Technology Unit and the electronic services it provides to students, such as the electronic student services system and how to register on it. She also explained the steps for accessing the educational platform to benefit from the courses and digital educational materials.
