Prof. Kamal Gad Sharoubim - Governor of Dakahlia, Prof. Ashraf Abdel Baset - President of Mansoura University, and Prof. Amina El-Nemr - Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, laid the foundation stone for the new building of the faculty, which will accommodate the increasing numbers of students on an area of 750 meters. A square with five floors and ground floor dedicated to classrooms and new educational programs.

Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, celebrates its 25th anniversary. The celebration will take place from 1: 6 September 2019 with the participation of nearly 20 nursing faculties from all over the Republic.The participating delegations include students' delegation of 12 students to compete and participate in the various activities of the festival. Jubilee events consist of student activities such as (cultural, artistic, scientific, social and sports). The participating delegations also include one academic staff  and one  member of youth welfare staff from the participating faculties.

Organizing committees consist of approximately 100 students from Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University and the various faculties of the university within 7 organizational committees of a plan developed by the Students' Union to receive and accompany the participating delegations throughout the festival, in addition to organizing the implementation of activities and preparing schedules for competitions.

Within the framework of activating the cooperation protocol between the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University and Dar Al Fouad Hospital and the Faculty keenness to refine the training skills of its graduates and to provide all means to identify modern methods in the field of nursing which are applied in major health facilities.

A delegation from Mansoura University participated in the International Erasmus Week at the University of Petchity in Romania to exchange academic experiences and develop international cooperation.
The delegation included Prof. Dr. Mohamed Salah, Director of the International Relations Office, Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Jaraihi, Professor of Astrophysics at the Faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. Sumaya Abdel Hamid, former Dean of the Faculty of Kindergarten, Dr. Samah Ramadan, Dr. Ayoud El-Sheikh - Lecturer of Nursing of Children at the Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Marwa Fathallah - Lecturer of nursing critical cases in the Faculty of Nursing.
The members of the delegation met Prof. Dimitro Kirlshan, President of the University of Petchity, Prof. Mihaila Diaconu, Chairman of the Council of Elders, and Dr. Emmanuel Sawar, Vice President of the University for International Relations. The two sides discussed means of developing future cooperation. The delegation participated in the celebrations of the University of Petchity near the Christmas occasion. The members of the delegation delivered a number of academic lectures to the students of the University of Petchity in the corresponding disciplines of the faculties of science, education , engineering and nursing, reflecting the importance of the exchange of experiences in give students the academic diversity through international experiences.
 Dr. Ashraf Suwailam, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, stressed the importance of activating the agreements and maximizing the benefit of international funding programs and providing sources of support for the development of the educational process in the faculties of the university.
Dr. Ashraf Abdel Basset, President of the University, stressed the necessity of international cooperation and maximizing the benefit of the European funding opportunities for the development and building of the university's youth through benefiting from the international experience and enriching the educational and academic process in the university.

Post-graduate Studies and Research, opened on Sunday 25 November 2018 the 8th Mansoura University Book Fair organized by the Central Library of the University under the patronage of Prof. Ashraf Abdel Basset, President of the University from 25 November to 5 December 2018, in the presence of a number of deans of the faculties of the university and its agents and the faculty members and Mr. Osama Mousa Secretary General of the University, Mr. Saad Abdul Wahab, Secretary of the Assistant University, and the General Managers of the University and Mr. Medhat Ismail Director General of the Central Library of the University.

The director of the central library at Mansoura University, Mr. Medhat Ismail, said that the exhibition is the first time to participate of 60 publishing houses in cooperation with the Egyptian Publishers Union. This contributes to increasing the publishing houses participating in this exhibition, especially in relation to novels and scientific books.

He added that this exhibition will witness for the first time at the level of the Book Fairs in the Republic of Egypt the participation of the publishing house of the model center for the care of the blind which provides books for reading Braille.

He stressed that this exhibition will be held on the sidelines of several symposiums: "The role of stem cells in the process of recovery of athletes from training and sports injuries," "The recent Information Technology between positive and negative," "Sleep diseases for young and old," "Your way to the diplomatic corps and international law "," Beautification of the skin, what it is, "" preserving the backbone "," healthy nutrition"

Prof. Asharf Suweilem praised the efforts to organize this exhibition, which gained a good reputation according to the periodicity of its organization for eight consecutive years, which made it second place locally after the International Cairo Book Fair.
