The first training course for the Measurement and Evaluation Unit of the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, according to the unit's training plan.
The Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, held its first training course in accordance with the unit's training plan. The course, titled "Methods for Preparing a Test Matrix and Learning Outcome Measurement Models," was held in coordination with the Center for Measurement and Evaluation at Mansoura University.
It was held under the auspices of:
Professor Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University,
Professor Dr. Mohamed Attia El-Bayoumi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs,
Professor Dr. Abeer Zakaria,
Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University,
Assistant Professor Dr. Rasha Hassan Abbas, Director of the Faculty's Measurement and Evaluation Unit.
The course was implemented by the Faculty's Measurement and Evaluation Unit's Training Committee.
Lectured by:
Assistant Professor Dr. Nadia Youssef Ahmed Abdella, Assistant Professor of Women's Health and Obstetrics Nursing, Department of Women's Health and Obstetrics.
It was held on Sunday, March 9, 2025, in the Faculty's Conference Hall.
The course objectives were as follows:
1. Identify the types of learning outcomes.
2. Identify the importance of measuring learning outcomes.
3. Identify the test matrix, the purpose of its implementation, and its specifications.
4. Learn how to prepare a test matrix and apply some practical examples for clarification.
This training course witnessed positive interaction among faculty members, contributing to the development of the educational process by establishing approved mechanisms within the college to meet the necessary standards for aligning examination systems with the university's Center for Measurement and Evaluation.
