THe Third International Students' Conference and the Sixth Nationality Entitled "Innovations in Health care"
Launch of the Third International and Sixth Local Student Conference – Faculty of Nursing
The conference was held in cooperation with Taibah University (Al-Ula Branch, Saudi Arabia), Misan University (Iraq), and Sinop University (Turkey).
On Sunday, February 23, 2025, the Faculty of Nursing inaugurated the activities of the Third International and Sixth Local Student Conference, organized in collaboration with Taibah University – Al-Ula Branch (Saudi Arabia), Misan University (Iraq), and Sinop University (Turkey), under the theme:
“Modern Innovations in Updating Healthcare.”
The conference was held under the patronage of:
- Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater – President of the University
- Prof. Dr. Mohamed Atiya El-Bayoumi – Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs
In the presence of:
- Prof. Dr. Abeer Zakaria – Acting Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs
- Prof. Dr. Widad Saber – Conference Rapporteur and Faculty Student Activities Coordinator
Also attending were faculty members of the college, Prof. Dr. Dina Abu El-Ela – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts for Community Service and Environmental Development, Mr. Ahmed El-Ashry – General Director of Student Welfare, with the participation and organization of the General Administration of Student Welfare (at both the university and faculty levels), the Student Union of the Faculty of Nursing, the “Students for Egypt” Association, and with broad participation from nursing students.
Prof. Dr. Abeer Zakaria emphasized the importance of the conference in strengthening international cooperation and exchanging expertise among students and researchers in the field of nursing. She also praised the high quality of the research presented by students, reaffirming the faculty’s commitment to supporting student activities that enhance their skills and capabilities.
The conference addressed a wide range of important and valuable topics, highlighting professional and educational needs of students, the use of modern technology and artificial intelligence applications in nursing, and was met with strong interest and positive reception from attendees.
The conference featured 59 contributions, with delegations of participating students welcomed from New Mansoura University, Mansoura National University, Delta University, and Port Said University. Students from all participating universities delivered diverse scientific presentations.
