As part of Mansoura University's plan to serve the community and develop the environment, and to promote health awareness and raise awareness among school students, awareness programs are being implemented on tooth decay and prevention methods. These programs guide students on healthy behaviors and habits to maintain oral and dental health.
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater, President of the University; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs
And under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Abeer Zakaria, Acting Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Dr. Fatima Al-Imam, Acting Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sahar Soliman, Head of the Community Health Nursing Department.
Faculty member Dr. Iman Refaat and assistant faculty member Ms. Aya Abdel Maqsoud held an awareness seminar for primary school students on tooth decay and prevention methods on March 16, 2025, at Khaled Ibn Al-Walid Primary School in Mansoura.
Objective:
To provide health awareness to school students about tooth decay and how to prevent it. Brochures prepared by members of the Community Nursing Department were used.
Awareness campaign beneficiaries:
This campaign included 30 students.
