A symposium was held entitled dehydration among older adults

The symposium covered an introduction to the definition of dehydration, its incidence in the elderly, the causes, signs and symptoms of dehydration, how to diagnose it, the stages of dehydration according to the World Health Organization, its complications, and how to treat and prevent it.

The students measured the elderly’s pulse and blood pressure, and health brochures were distributed about dehydration among the elderly, as well as distributing samples of meals and gifts provided by male and female students of Group 5 A.
