The Arab Board of Health Specialities (Arab Board) exams were held at the Faculty of Nursing for the first time in Egypt.

Under the patronage of Professor/ Sherif Khater - President of Mansoura University

Professor/ Tarek Ghalwash- Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Professor/Abeer Zakaria - Dean of the faculty of Nursing

Professor/ Nahed kandeel- Vice Dean of Postgraduate Studies and Research and Professor/ Asmaa Ibrahim - Head of the Department of Critical Care and Emergency Nursing

The Arab Board Committee included: Dr/ Mirna Abi Doumit, Dr / Aisha Al-Maamari, Dr/Najat Dowidar, Dr/ Sabah Lamloum, Dr/ Kawthar Mahmoud - Head of the Egyptian Nursing Syndicate and Dr/ Omaima Sobhi - Head of the Dakahlia Nursing Syndicate.

The committee members were received by Dr/ Abeer Zakaria, Dr/ Nahed Kandeel, Dr/ Asmaa Ibrahim and Dr/ Aida Farid - Director of the Arab Board Program.

Dr/Abeer Zakaria indicated that Egypt is the first country to implement the Arab Board in the specialty of Emergency and Disaster Nursing. For the first time, the final exam for the Arab Board program will be held in the Arab Republic of Egypt in the simulation laboratory at the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, in the period from December 16-18, 2024.
