Participation of the Critical Care and Emergency Nursing Department in the Celebration of International Nurses Day at the Faculty of Nursing- Mansoura University
The College of Nursing organized the International Nurses Day celebration under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater - President of the University and the leadership of prof. Dr. Mohamed Attia - Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim - Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The honorable gentlemen were greeted by Heads of the nursing department in hospitals and medical centers,as well as the college of nursing dean,
prof. Dr. Amina Al-Nimr - Dean of the College of Nursing, prof. Dr. Abeer Zakaria - Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, prof. Dr. Nahed kandeel - Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Professor Dr. Fatima Al-Imam - Director of the Technical Institute.The heads of scientific departments, including Prof. Dr. Hala Ahmed Abdel Rahman, Head of the Critical Care and Emergency Nursing Department, and the nursing staff of university hospitals, attended the celebration. His Excellency the University President, Professor Dr. Sherif Khater, expressed his Excellency's sincere gratitude to Dr. Amina El-Nimr for the efforts made to highlight the importance of nursing in serving society, emphasizing that nurses are the first line of defense for Egyptian patients and that nursing staff members need ongoing education and training. Doctor Amina El-Nimr expressed her happiness. The celebratory message for today is to thank everyone in attendance for the outstanding work that nurses have done in helping the Egyptian and Arab communities.Prof.Dr. Amina El-Nimr expressed her Excellency's sincere gratitude to prof. She also noted that nursing is the first line of defense for Egyptian patients and that nursing staff members need to receive ongoing education and training. Prof.Dr. Amina El-Nimr expressed her happiness in the presence of everybody, this celebration's message is one of gratitude for the nursing profession's outstanding work and contributions in providing care for Egyptian and Arab patients. Over time, nursing has demonstrated that it is a crucial component of the medical system and that it is equally responsible in emergency situations.The celebration was planned by the college's expatriate unit, which is led by prof. Dr. Wafa Hamid- coordinator of the unit ,Dr. Amina Hassan- deputy coordinator of the unit for postgraduate studies; and Dr. Eman Yasser- coordinator of the unit for bachelor's degree and lecture in critical care and emergency nursing department.
