Vision of the Unit

That the Academic Advising Unit at the Faculty be a distinguished and pioneering unit in academic, psychological and professional counseling for students.

Mission of the Unit

Providing integrated academic and psychological counseling services for students in the faculty by solving academic, psychological and social problems that hinder them from achieving their educational goals and providing them with various academic skills that raise their academic achievement and achieve their scientific aspirations and develop their skills in various fields in accordance with international quality standards in universities.

Unit Administration

It consists of the members of the Committee for Community Service and Environmental Development, headed by the Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the Director of the Unit and two (2) faculty assistants selected by the Director of the Unit and an administrative member.

Objectives of the Unit

  1. Spreading the culture of academic and student guidance among faculty students.
  2. Familiarizing students with university systems, procedures and regulations.
  3. Providing specialized consultations for students in the faculty.
  4. Developing the skills and capabilities of faculty members in the fields of academic and student guidance.
  5. Reducing negative phenomena and common problems among faculty students.
  6. Enhancing the psychological adjustment of Faculty students.
  7. Providing support and motivation to the faculty outstanding and talented students.
  8. Reducing academic stumbling students in the faculty

Activities of the Unit

  1. List the graduates in terms of number, places of work and tasks assigned to them.
  2. Survey the beneficiaries' opinions and measure their satisfaction.
  3. To identify the problems facing graduates in the labor market.
  4. Develop a plan and implement the necessary training courses to raise the level of graduates.
  5. Provide the Faculty with feedback to develop educational curricula.
  6. Develop a plan to improve the quality of graduates' performance.
  7. Issuing a guide that contains the description of the unit and the mission, vision and objectives of the unit, which is reviewed and updated every three years. It is also published annually, including the achievements of the previous year and the plan of action next year, on the first of October of each year

Nursing Graduate Association

Objectives of the Association

  • Developing social bonds between different batches of Faculty graduates.
  • Linking graduates to the mother Faculty.
  • Supporting the faculty with the material capabilities and human expertise of the Faculty graduates.

The Association works to achieve its objectives through the following activities:

  • Keeping records with names and data of Faculty graduates.
  • Holding periodic meetings, seminars, conferences for graduates inside and outside the Faculty.
  • The ceremony of the graduates and the call for the various batches and their families to strengthen ties between them.
  • Encouraging graduates to exchange experiences, especially between the oldest and the newest.
  • Encouraging graduates to maintain continuous contact with the Faculty.
