The symposium addressed key topics that help researchers determine the types of research study designs, identify strengths and weaknesses in different research study designs, and enhance critical thinking and problem-solving skills related to research study design.
*Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President for Community Service, Environmental Development, and Leadership, Prof. Dr. Abeer Zakaria, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Wafaa Fathy Selim, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Wafaa Gamil Mohamed, Head of the Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Rasha Hassan Abbas Shady, Coordinator of Community Service and Environmental Development in the Department.
The symposium was attended by Prof. Samar Al-Husseini, Chair of the Faculty's Research Ethics Committee and Professor of Community Health Nursing at the Faculty. All attendees commended the importance of the chosen topic. They expressed their admiration for the implementation of various scientific courses to enhance the competence of faculty members, their assistants, and external researchers, and to familiarize them with the latest developments and how to utilize and apply them effectively to serve the community.
