The 7th Conference of the Department of Women’s Health and Midwifery Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University
Under the patronage of Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, the activities of the 7th International Conference of the Department of Women's Health and Midwifery Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, were launched. This comes within the framework of supporting the efforts of the Egyptian state towards digital transformation in the healthcare sector, implementing the strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in line with Egypt's 2030 Vision for sustainable development. The conference, held under the title: 'Digital Technology in Maternal and Fetal Care: Opportunities and Challenges,' takes place under the patronage of Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, and Dr. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research. It is chaired by Prof. Abeer Mohamed Zakaria, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Conference Chair, led by Prof. Nahed Kandeel, Acting Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research and Vice Conference Chair, Prof. Hanan El-Sayed Mohamed, Head of the Department of Women's Health and Midwifery Nursing and Conference Secretary-General, and Dr. Eman Fadel, Conference Secretary.
The conference aims to review the latest digital technologies used in monitoring maternal and fetal health, assess the impact of technology on the quality and efficiency of healthcare for pregnant women, and analyze the challenges associated with implementing digital solutions within healthcare systems, as well as to promote collaboration between the health and technology sectors to develop innovative solutions, and raise awareness among medical staff about the importance of digital transformation in maternal care.
