Postgraduate Studies Committee meeting for the month of October 2022

Introductory meeting for new postgraduate students at Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University

On Tuesday, October 4, 2022, the introduction meeting for postgraduate students was held under the partonage of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meligy- Acting President of Mansoura University and Prof. Ashraf Hafez - Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, supervised by Prof. Amina El-Nemer - Dean of the Faculty and Prof. Abeer Zakaria - Acting Dean of the Faculty and Prof. Nahed Attia Kandeel - Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs and the organization of the Postgraduate Studies Department at the Faculty headed by Ms. Amira Shehata.

The meeting included introductory lectures on:

1. The basics of scientific research that delivered by Prof. Nahed Kandeel - Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs.

2. Ethics of scientific research, presented by Prof. Hanan Suleiman - Head of the Faculty Ethics Committee

3. How to avoid and reduce scientific plagiarism, presented by Assist. Prof. Marwa Fathallah - coordinator of the turnit on program at the faculty.

4. How to deal with the stressors presented by Assist. Prof. Nashwa Ibrahim - Cultural Relations Cordinator at the Faculty.

5. How to register on the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, which was presented by Assist Prof. Eman Ahmed Fadel - Director of Information Technology Unit at the Faculty.

6. The system of registration in credit hours programs for a master's and doctorate degrees, which was given by Ms. Amira Shehata.

It is worth mentioning that, the activities of the introductory meeting were transmitted online via Zoom Meeting for the international students, organized by Dr. Ahmed Salah-the international students’ coordinator at the Faculty.

The meeting included honoring Prof. Abeer Zakaria - Vice-Dean for Education and Students and previous Vice-Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, and also the postgraduate Studies Staff by Prof. Nahed Attia Kandeel - Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research for the efforts that have been made by the sector.
