Workshop Entitled “Mastering APA Style" Tips and Tricks for Novice Researchers

Workshop entitled “Mastering APA Style" Tips and Tricks for Novice Researchers was held On the sidelines of the 13th International Conference of the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, and the 9th Conference for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and under patronage of Prof. Dr. Cherif Khater- President of Mansoura University; Prof. Dr. Tarek Ghalwash- Vice President of Mansoura University for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Dr. Abeer Zakaria- Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University; Prof. Dr. Nahed Attia Kandeel- Vice Dean of the Faculty for Postgraduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Dr. Asmaa Ibrahim Abo Seada- Head of the Critical Care and Emergency Nursing Department.

The workshop held on Sunday, April 19, 2026, online via Microsoft Teams. It was presented by Dr. Asmaa Elnosary- Lecturer of Critical Care and Emergency Nursing, and organized by:- A.L/ Aya Ali El-Husseiny, D/ Basma Reda Barakat,D/ Wafaa Hamed

The workshop targeted novice researchers, postgraduate students, and staff members, aimed to aimed to develop their skills in producing clear and professional scholarly papers. It also emphasized adherence to standardized APA formatting, including margins, fonts, and spacing, as well as mastering citation practices such as the author–date system, distinguishing between paraphrasing and direct quotation, and accurately preparing reference lists. Furthermore, the workshop sought to promote ease of navigation and enhance credibility in scientific communication, particularly within nursing and healthcare research.
