*Launch of the Orientation Program for Internship Students at the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University (Academic Year 2025–2026)*

Under the gracious patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Attia El-Bayoumi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Dr. Abeer Mohamed Zakaria, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, the orientation program for internship students was launched on Sunday, April 5, 2026.

The program aims to comprehensively prepare students for the internship phase and equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the challenges of working in the healthcare field. The program was organized under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Awatef Hassan Qassem, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Amira Abdel Moneim Ibrahim, Academic Coordinator of the Internship Program at the Faculty.

The program covered a variety of key topics, including the unified regulations for internship students, professional practice guidelines, and effective communication skills with patients and colleagues—ensuring that new graduates are well-prepared and equipped to deliver high-quality healthcare services.

Faculty members from various practical departments actively participated in delivering the training sessions. The orientation program was not limited to information delivery; organizers ensured active student engagement through open discussions and the exchange of experiences.
