A Specialized Training Course for Faculty Members and Teaching Assistants Entitled “Rubrics” at the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, and the leadership of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Attia, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.
Within the framework of the continuous pursuit to develop the educational system and ensure the quality of examinations and assessment, the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, headed by Prof. Dr. Abeer Mohamed Zakaria, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Chairperson of the Unit’s Board, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Rasha Hassan Abbas, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, in coordination with Prof. Dr. Josephine Atef, Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit at the Faculty, organized a specialized training course for faculty members and their assistants entitled “Rubrics.”
The course was held on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Nursing.
The course was delivered by Prof. Dr. Fatma Fathi Amin, Professor of Pediatric Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University.
The course addressed key themes aiming to:
Enhance the accuracy and objectivity of student assessment.
Clarify the relationship between assessment criteria and the intended Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs).
This comes within the framework of commitment to the standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE).
All attendees praised the importance of the selected topic and expressed their admiration for the training courses implemented by the Measurement and Evaluation Unit in coordination with the University’s Measurement and Evaluation Center, which aim to raise the efficiency of faculty members and their assistants and keep them informed of the latest developments in improving the student assessment system at the Faculty.
