The lecture was held at the Children’s Hospital of Mansoura University.
In line with the community role of the Pediatric Nursing Department, the lecture took place on Saturday, 22 November 2025, and focused on standards related to high‑alert medications, including the need to identify, store, and dispense these medications in ways that minimize risks.
The session also addressed the creation of high‑alert medication lists based on local data and international organizations. It included the development of clear safety policies covering identification, safe storage, and risk reduction through the segregation of highly concentrated medications.
A practical training component was included, providing teams with best practices for handling high‑alert medications to ensure patient safety and compliance with accreditation requirements.
