Mansoura Nursing is among the top three nursing colleges in Egypt.
According to the results of the nursing licensure exams, Mansoura University Nursing ranks among the top three nursing colleges in Egypt.
The Faculty of Nursing at Mansoura University ranked among the top three among the twenty-eight nursing colleges participating in the 2024 nursing licensure exams. This achievement came after passing the national exam to qualify for the profession, which was administered for the first time by the Egyptian Health Council for nursing graduates.
Professor Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, congratulated the Faculty of Nursing on this honorable achievement, emphasizing that this success reflects the quality of the educational and training process at the Faculty, as well as its commitment to fulfilling the university's mission of preparing qualified graduates according to the latest scientific and professional standards.
Professor Dr. Abeer Zakaria, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, expressed her pride in the performance of the Faculty's students, noting that this excellence is the culmination of the efforts made to adhere to standards of academic excellence and continuous practical training, which enhances the Faculty's position among its peers nationwide. It is noteworthy that the professional practice exams, which are conducted by the Egyptian Health Council in implementation of the provisions of Law No. 12 of 2022 regarding the establishment of the Council, and in accordance with Article No. (3) thereof, require that, in order to obtain a license to practice the profession, the student must successfully pass the test held by the Council to qualify to practice the profession. These tests aim to ensure the qualification of graduates of medical sector colleges, guarantee their competence to practice the profession, and ensure that they have received appropriate training before granting the license. The license granted to practice the profession is valid for a period of five years, renewable for similar periods.
