As part of Mansoura University’s celebration for achieving first place as the Best University in Student Activities among Egyptian universities, Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, honored Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wedad Saber, Student Activities Coordinator at the Faculty of Nursing, and Ms. Marwa Mohamed, Director of Student Welfare at the Faculty, in recognition of their outstanding efforts in supporting student activities and contributing to this achievement.

The ceremony, held in the Grand Meeting Hall at the University Administration Building, was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Attia Al-Bayoumi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; several faculty deans and vice deans; student activities coordinators; faculty members; and leaders and departments of Student Welfare.

The event also included the honoring of the Student Activities Competition Team and the organizing committee of the grand celebration marking the 52nd anniversary of the glorious October victories, in appreciation of their efforts that strengthened the university’s position in student activities and led to its attainment of the Gold Category in the Egyptian Student Participation Survey for the academic year 2024/2025.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater extended his sincere appreciation to the Education and Student Affairs Sector, led by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Attia Al-Bayoumi, affirming that the university is proud of the unprecedented achievements accomplished during the 2024/2025 academic year. He emphasized that student activities have become a fundamental pillar in shaping students’ personalities and preparing them for the future, in alignment with the state’s strategy and Egypt’s Vision 2030
