“Human Health Is Linked to Animal and Environmental Health”
Under the comprehensive theme of “One Health,” the General Health Committee of the Scientific Association of Nursing Students and Graduates – Mansoura Branch organized an educational awareness campaign about the concept of One Health and its importance within the community.
The campaign took place on Sunday, November 16, starting at 10:00 AM, at the university campus, aiming to raise awareness about the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health.
The campaign covered key awareness topics, including:
✅ Understanding the One Health concept and the links between human, animal, and environmental health.
✅ Zoonotic diseases and methods of prevention.
✅ The importance of combating antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and misuse of antibiotics.
✅ The role of students and the community in supporting this vital concept.
The event reflects the association’s commitment to enhancing health literacy among students and the community, blending scientific knowledge with environmental and public health awareness.
