“Human Health Is Linked to Animal and Environmental Health”

Under the comprehensive theme of “One Health,” the General Health Committee of the Scientific Association of Nursing Students and Graduates – Mansoura Branch organized an educational awareness campaign about the concept of One Health and its importance within the community.

The campaign took place on Sunday, November 16, starting at 10:00 AM, at the university campus, aiming to raise awareness about the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health.

The campaign covered key awareness topics, including:

✅ Understanding the One Health concept and the links between human, animal, and environmental health.
✅ Zoonotic diseases and methods of prevention.
✅ The importance of combating antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and misuse of antibiotics.
✅ The role of students and the community in supporting this vital concept.

The event reflects the association’s commitment to enhancing health literacy among students and the community, blending scientific knowledge with environmental and public health awareness.

Healthy Nutrition and Malnutrition Awareness Campaign

As part of efforts to raise health awareness among students and the community, the Public Health Committee of the Scientific Association of Nursing Students and Graduates – Mansoura Branch organized an awareness campaign on healthy nutrition and malnutrition under the slogan:
"For a Stronger Body and Smarter Mind — Start with Health!" The campaign took place on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM on the university campus.

The campaign aimed to introduce students to the principles of balanced healthy nutrition and its role in boosting energy, vitality, and disease prevention. It also clarified the concept of malnutrition, in both its forms (deficiency and excess), and how to address it.

Key awareness topics covered during the event included:

✅ What are the principles of balanced healthy nutrition?
✅ How to identify and address malnutrition (deficiency and excess).
✅ Practical tips for healthy meals suitable for everyone.

The event reflects the Scientific Association’s commitment to promoting public health and enhancing healthy eating culture as a foundation for a better daily life.

Awareness campaign “Don’t let stress define you"

The Public Health Committee of the Scientific Association of Nursing Students and Graduates – Mansoura University organized an awareness campaign on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 12:00 PM, held on campus under the theme:
“Don’t let stress define you; use it as fuel to achieve your goals.”

The campaign emphasized that stress is a natural part of life, but the way we deal with it makes all the difference. The activities focused on several key aspects, including:

Defining stress and its different types that people may encounter in daily life.
Explaining effective strategies for managing stress through awareness and self-understanding.
Highlighting the vital role of family and social support in overcoming stress.

The initiative aimed to raise awareness among students and strengthen their ability to cope with daily challenges, thereby improving their mental health and overall quality of life

On the Sidelines of the Third International and Sixth Local Student Conference – Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University

The Scientific Association of Nursing Students and Graduates – Mansoura Branch participated in the conference, where the opening ceremony began with verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by a speech from Prof. Dr. Abeer Zakaria, then a speech from Dr. Widad Saber. Afterwards, students started presenting and discussing their topics.

On Thursday, February 27, the Public Health Committee (ENSAA) organized an educational campaign titled “Cancerous Tumors” at the university campus, with the attendance of several committee members and secretaries.

The campaign addressed several important topics, including:

Definition and types of cancerous tumors
Risk factors that increase the likelihood of developing cancer
Different treatment methods
Prevention strategies

The event aimed to raise health awareness among students and the university community, and to promote a culture of prevention in facing cancer, which is considered one of the most widespread diseases worldwide and a leading cause of death.

Educational Campaign Titled “Your Dish Your Health” at the Faculty of Nursing – Mansoura University

The Public Health Committee of the Scientific Association of Nursing Students and Graduates – Mansoura Branch organized an educational campaign titled “Your Dish Your Health” on Tuesday, February 25, at 12:00 PM in front of the Faculty of Nursing building.

The campaign highlighted the importance of healthy nutrition in improving overall health and preventing diseases, as it provides the body with essential energy and nutrients, boosts immunity, and enhances both mental and physical well-being as well as quality of life.

The event was attended by several committee members and secretaries and witnessed active participation from students, under the slogan:
🌟 Healthy Food, Healthy Life.

The Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, celebrated under the chairmanship of Prof. Amina Muhammad Rashad El-Nemer- Dean of the Faculty and Chairman of the Board of Directors The branch and the leadership of Prof. Rabab Al-Sayed Hassan - Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, under the supervision of Prof. Amal Mohamed Al-Sayed - Supervisor of the Scientific Society, Mansoura Branch, Dr. Amina Hassan - First Assistant Supervisor and Dr. Narges Fathi - Second Assistant Supervisor, in the presence of a number of former supervisors of the association, current and former members of the branch council, and a number of branch members, accomplished the association’s achievement for the past year and the current year, with the association obtaining the ideal branch twice in a row at the level of the Republic.
