Meeting with different Committee of measurement and assessment unit
As part of the College of Nursing's ongoing efforts to develop the educational process and implement academic quality standards, the Measurement and Evaluation Unit held two consecutive meetings with its subcommittees. The meetings were held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and under the leadership of Professor Dr. Abeer Zakaria, Dean of the College of Nursing, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Rasha Hassan Abbas, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit at the College. The meetings aimed to follow up on the implementation of the work plan for the current semester and enhance integration between the various committees.
The first meeting was held with the Question Banks Committee to discuss several important topics, most notably: linking modern course descriptions to question banks to ensure consistency between the targeted learning outcomes and measurement tools, and reviewing the student assessment guide to align with the latest standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation.
The second meeting was held with the Advertising and Publications Committee.
The plan to activate the committee's activities was discussed. It was agreed to: complete the development of the unit's official page in Arabic and English to serve as a comprehensive informational platform for the unit's work; design and implement awareness posters for the college's measurement and evaluation system; and prepare QR codes and link them to certificates and informational posters to facilitate access to digital files and reports on the unit's activities.
These meetings are part of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit's plan to improve learning outcomes, ensure transparency and accuracy in evaluation processes, and utilize modern technology to serve the educational process at the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University.
