Students of Group 8 from the Geriatric Nursing Department – Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, organized a distinguished social, educational, and recreational awareness seminar, reflecting the department’s continuous leadership in community engagement and awareness activities.

“Elder Abuse and How to Overcome It.”

🌟 The seminar was presented by:

along with the students of Group 8 enrolled in the Geriatric Nursing course.

🌟 The seminar addressed several important and beneficial topics, including proper communication and interaction with older adults, their rights, raising their awareness about electronic blackmail and how to deal with it, key guidelines on violence against the elderly, its forms, preventive measures, consequences of elder abuse, and how to report cases to the relevant authorities, in addition to the role of health and social institutions.

During the seminar, students also measured blood pressure and blood glucose levels for the elderly attendees.
