As part of the student activities derived from the practical training plan for the Gerontological Nursing course, and under the patronage of:
👩‍⚕️ Prof. Dr. Abir Mohamed Zakaria – Dean of the Faculty of Nursing
👩‍⚕️ Prof. Dr. Awatef Hassan Qassem – Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs
and with the support and supervision of Prof. Dr. Heba Nasha Abdel Aziz – Head of the Gerontological Nursing Department,

the students of Group 7 in the Gerontological Nursing Department – Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University – organized a special social and recreational awareness seminar, reflecting the department’s leading role in community awareness and engagement.

✨✨ The seminar was held under the title:
“Healthy Nutrition for Older Adults”

📍 Location: Al-Amal Club for Older Adults in Al-Eisawy

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sally Mohamed El-Sayed – Bachelor Program Coordinator, Gerontological Nursing Department

Dr. Asmaa Ali Khattab – Practical Training Coordinator, Gerontological Nursing Department

🌟 Presented by:
Dr. Israa Atef – Demonistrator at Gerontological Nursing, along with the students of Group 7 enrolled in the Gerontological Nursing course.

🌟 The seminar covered important and useful topics, including:

The importance of healthy nutrition for older adults

Physiological changes in older adults related to nutrition

Key nutritional guidelines for older adults

Additionally, students measured blood pressure and blood sugar levels for the attending older adults during the seminar.
