Initiated on Sunday, 11th February 2024, the Faculty of Nursing began activities as part of its plan to promote the educational guide for reproductive health messages and population concepts.

- Prof. Dr. Wafaa Fathy Selim, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development
In collaboration with the Faculty of Dentistry and the Faculty of Pharmacy, the initiative covered the following topics:
- Reproductive health, the importance of premarital examination and counseling, and prevention of health problems.
- Preserving women's and children's health, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for growth and development.
- Proper timing and spacing of pregnancies for optimal health outcomes.
- Family planning based on rights and free choice, supported by knowledge of family planning methods and services.
- Comprehensive healthy lifestyle encompassing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being, contributing to individual satisfaction and improved quality of life.
- Mental health as an integral part of public health, interconnected with physical health and life functioning.
- Women's empowerment, particularly economic empowerment, as an effective means to uplift family and community welfare.
- Violence against women as a violation of human rights.
Population concepts and environmental issues were highlighted as integral to individual and community life, beyond mere technical or statistical matters.
