A meeting of Prof. Dr. Fawzia El-Sayed Abu Saad, Head of the Department of Pediatric Nursing, with the auxiliary staff of teaching assistants and assistant lecturers in the Department of Pediatric Nursing, to follow up on the progress of the educational process in the college laboratories, in the presence of the course professors, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hoda Nafeh and Dr. Amal Reda. This meeting coincides with the start of practical training for the first semester of the academic year 2024/2025 for third-level students. During the meeting, Prof. Dr. discussed the various aspects of implementing the practical program and ways to enhance the quality of education to achieve the desired academic goals.

The activities of the second week of student activities emanating from the “Beginning to Develop and Build the Egyptian Person” initiative were implemented, according to the practical training plan for the Pediatric Nursing course.
These activities came under the supervision of the professors of the Pediatric Nursing course: Prof. Dr. Josephine Atef, Prof. Dr. Hoda Mohamed Nafeh, and Dr. Amal Reda Mansy, the practical coordinator of the course, and in cooperation with a group of teaching assistants and assistant lecturers in the Department of Pediatric Nursing and those responsible for practical training for students.
The students participated actively in the activities of the initiative, as they provided educational sessions for mothers and children at the University Children's Hospital and the Oncology Hospital, as part of the practical training plan for students. This initiative comes in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and aims to achieve Egypt's Vision 2030 for sustainable development, especially in the fields of health, education and culture.

These efforts reflect the commitment of Mansoura University and its students to contribute to building an integrated Egyptian society that seeks to achieve sustainable development.

Activities of the second week of laboratory training for the practical pediatric nursing course for the Bachelor of Nursing program for the first semester - academic year 2024/2025

The beginning of the practical field training for the pediatric nursing course for the first semester of the academic year 2024/2025
Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Fawzia Al-Sayed Abu Saad; Head of the Department of Pediatric Nursing.
In the presence of Prof. Dr. Hoda Nafeh, Assistant Professor of Pediatric Nursing and Teaching the Pediatric Nursing Course.
And Dr. Amal Mansy, Practical Coordinator of the Pediatric Nursing Course.
Under the supervision of the department's assistant staff responsible for practical training within the units.
Today, third-year students attended the first day of field training in the various units within the University Children's Hospital as well as the Pediatric Oncology Unit at the University Oncology Center.
The students showed a high level of commitment to attendance and high morale during the practical training within the units.
We always wish our children and students continued success and excellence.

The activities of the New Beginning Initiative were implemented
The Beginning Initiative for Developing and Building the Egyptian Person through student participation in health education sessions for mothers and caregivers of children visiting the outpatient clinics of the University Children's Hospital entitled "Obesity in Children"

This comes in light of the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and the objectives of the presidential initiative "A New Beginning for Building the Egyptian Person" are as follows:

1- Achieving Egypt's Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Program in Health, Education, Culture and Sports.

2- Providing job opportunities in an integrated manner between state agencies and civil society.
3- Improving the quality of life of citizens in all governorates.

4- Providing various services, activities and programs targeting all age groups.

5- Achieving fair distribution and efficiency in providing services and activities that directly target citizens.

6- Benefiting from available resources to maximize the benefit that accrues to citizens and that they quickly feel.

7- Enhancing human skills and developing government services.

8- Enhancing the role of the public and private sectors and civil society in providing services.

9- Creating healthy, athletic generations that enjoy culture and preserve values, morals and principles with the support of Al-Azhar, the Church and Endowments.

The activities of the "Bidaya" initiative for developing and building the Egyptian person were implemented for the second week according to the plan of the practical curriculum for the pediatric nursing course

This was through student participation in health education sessions for mothers and caregivers of children visiting the outpatient clinics of the University Children's Hospital, which included educational sessions on behavioral problems in children, especially "stubbornness in children," over 3 consecutive days, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, from October 12 to 15. This comes in light of the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and the objectives of the presidential initiative "A New Beginning for Building the Egyptian Person" are as follows:

1- Achieving Egypt's Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Program in Health, Education, Culture, and Sports.

2- Providing job opportunities in an integrated manner between state agencies and civil society.

3- Improving the quality of life of citizens in all governorates.

4- Providing various services, activities, and programs targeting all age groups.
