Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, and the leadership of Prof. Dr. Abeer Zakaria, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Josphine Atef, Director of the Quality Assurance Unit, Dr. Hend Wagih, Deputy Director of Quality, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nadia Youssef, Head of Administrative Standards, and Prof. Dr. Awatif Hassan Qasim, Head of the Department of Nursing Administration, the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, held a training workshop entitled "Effective Communication Skills." The course was attended by Prof. Narmin, Dean of the Faculty, and a number of faculty administrative staff members.
The course covered the following topics:

- The importance of communication in our lives.
- Principles of successful communication.
- Factors affecting the communication process.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strategies for improving communication.
