The Critical Care and Emergency Nursing Department organized the Second scientific day
On Monday , February, 9, 2026, under the title “Precision Nursing in Critical and Emergency Care : The Next Frontier ”.
Through this event, the Department reaffirmed the importance of keeping pace with recent advancements in critical care and adopting the concepts of precision nursing as a contemporary approach to enhancing healthcare quality and improving patient outcomes.

The opening session commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quraan by the student Mohamed Gamal, followed by welcoming speeches delivered by the distinguished academic leaders.
In her address, Prof. Abeer Zakaria expressed her sincere appreciation to the Critical Care and Emergency Nursing Department for its continuous efforts in advancing both educational and research processes. She commended the Department’s dedication to organizing scientific events that enrich the knowledge of students and researchers.
Prof. Asmaa Ibrahim welcomed the attendees, emphasizing the importance of integrating academic and clinical aspects in critical care and highlighting the pivotal role of specialized nursing in improving healthcare performance indicators.
In her speech, Prof. Nahed Attia Kandeel praised the efforts of the department members and the organizing committee, affirming the Faculty’s ongoing support for scientific and research activities that contribute to developing the skills of postgraduate students.
The Scientific Day featured a variety of distinguished activities, including the inauguration of a student activities exhibition that showcased students’ creativity and academic achievements. A documentary video was also presented, highlighting the Department’s key activities and accomplishments.

Presented by Prof. Doaa Galal Diab - Professor of Anesthesia and Intensive Care, who discussed strategies for managing professional stress in critical care environments.
“Mastering AI Governance: Effective Tools Explored”
Presented by Dr. Nesma El-Sayed Ibrahim - Information Systems Department , Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, Damietta University, who reviewed mechanisms of artificial intelligence governance and its applications in supporting healthcare decision-making.
