The Arab Board of Health Specialties visits the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University
The Arab Board of Health Specialties (Arab Board) at the Faculty of Nursing is for the first time in Egypt.
Under the patronage of Prof. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, Prof.
Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research and Prof. Abeer Zakaria, Dean of the Faculty and the Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Students Affairs.
The Arab Board included: Dr. Mirna Abi Doumit, Dr. Aisha Al-Maamari, Dr. Najat Duweikat, Dr. Sabah Lamloum, and Dr. Kawthar Mahmoud - Head of the Egyptian Nursing Syndicate and Member of the Senate, in the presence of Dr. Umaima Sobhi - Head of the Dakahlia Nursing Syndicate, Prof. Dr. Abeer Zakaria, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Nahed Kandeel, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Asmaa Ibrahim, Head of the Critical Care and Emergency Nursing Department, and Dr. Aida Farid, Director of the Arab Board Program.
Dr. Abeer Zakaria indicated that Egypt is the first country to implement the Arab Board in emergency nursing, and for the first time at the level of nursing institutions in the Arab Republic of Egypt, the final Arab Board exam is held in the simulation lab at the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, during the period from December 16-18, 2024.
The job title for Arab Board graduates was discussed and the quality of nursing services in health institutions was confirmed because Arab Board graduates are distinguished graduates and higher in study and practice in the Arab world.
