International Students’ Unit at the Faculty of Nursing organized today the First Student Forum for International Students on 10/11/2025, under the patronage of Prof. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University; Prof. Mohamed Attia Bayoumi, Vice President for Education and Students’ Affairs; and Prof. Tarek Ghaloush, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research.
The event was held under the auspices of Prof. Abeer Mohamed Zakaria, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Chair of the International Students’ Unit, and in the presence of Prof. Fatma El-Imam, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Nahed Attia Kandil, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Assoc. Prof. Wafaa Hamed El-Shafie, Head of the Branch Office and Coordinator of the International Students’ Unit; Dr. Heba Nageh, Coordinator for Postgraduate International Students; and Dr. Eman Yasser, Coordinator for Undergraduate International Students. The forum was also attended by Major General Mohamed Allam, General Director of Security at Mansoura University; Dr. Lafi Al-Shammari, Representative of Saudi Students at the University; along with department heads, faculty members, and program directors.
The forum featured an honoring ceremony for academically distinguished students across all four levels. Students also presented a rich variety of artistic and cultural performances, including Egyptian, Saudi, Nubian, and Syrian shows, in addition to musical and poetic segments.
A highlight of the event was the “Unity of Nations” segment, in which students showcased the spirit of brotherhood and connection among diverse nationalities and cultures through a fashion show representing different heritages, accompanied by messages emphasizing the power of diversity in creating a supportive and enriching academic and human environment.
Students expressed their gratitude to the faculty administration and staff for their continuous support since joining the college. During her speech, Prof. Abeer Zakaria highlighted the faculty’s key programs, the degrees it offers, and the ongoing efforts to address any challenges that international students may face during their academic journey.
At the end of the forum, students took commemorative photos with the Dean, Vice Deans, and the International Students’ Unit team in an atmosphere that reflected warmth, harmony, and inclusiveness
