The second day of the training program for the nursing staff at Children’s University Hospital

Under the auspices Prof. Dr/ Sherif Khater President of Mansoura University and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Affairs the leadership of Prof. Dr/ / Amina El -Nemr, Dean of the College And Prof. Dr/ Wafaa Fathi Salim, Vice -Dean for Community Service and Environment Affairs And Prof. Dr/Fawzia El -Sayed Abu Saad, head of the pediatric nursing department. The second day of the training program was implemented for the hospital’s nursing staff, headed by Prof. Dr/Ashraf El-Sharqawi, director of the hospital, and Miss/ Hala Lotfy, head of the hospital’s nursing staff, entitled Emergency triage assessment and treatment. The training was conducted by Dr/ Ahmed Salah, lecturer of pediatric nursing, within the faculty plan and the pediatric nursing department for community service and environmental development

An educational seminar on diabetes at Children’s University Hospital

Coinciding with World Diabetes Day, November 14 (Diabetes Awareness Day) And under the auspices of Prof. Dr/ Sherif Khater President of Mansoura University And leadership Prof. Dr / Mohamed Attia, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs And Prof. Dr/ Amina El-Nemr, Dean of the College And Prof. Dr /Abeer Zakaria, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs and Prof. Dr/Fawzia El-Sayed Abu Saad, Head of the Pediatric Nursing Department In cooperation with with Prof. Dr/ Ashraf El-Sharqawi (Director of Children's University Hospital) and supervised by Dr/ Ghada Gamal Badawy Practical Coordinator of the Pediatric Nursing Course And assistant lecturer /sara Mustafa Hamza with the participation of students for groups 4 and 7 (third level - bachelor’s level - pediatric nursing course) The activities to celebrate World Diabetes Day took place on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, in the Diabetes and Endocrinology Unit at the Children's University Hospital, in accordance with the student activities plan (bachelor's level) of the Department of Pediatric Nursing - for the academic year 2022/2023. An educational symposium was held for mothers under the title “Educating about diabetes in children.” “Children are the key to a brighter tomorrow: Egypt’s Vision 2030”

On the sidelines of the activities celebrating World Diabetes Day, Children’s Day (November 20) was celebrated. The students also made a humanitarian gesture by donating to the Egyptian Food Bank for the urgent humanity relief campaign to help our affected families in the Gaza Strip to provide their basic food needs.

A scientific symposium on the impact of climate change on children’s health at the Child Care and Development Center

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr/ Sherif Youssef Khater, President of the University, Professor Dr/ Mahmoud El-Meligy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Affairs, Prof. Dr/Amina El-Nemr, Dean of the College, Prof. Dr/ Wafaa Fathi, Vice Dean of the College for Community and Environmental Service, Prof. Dr/ Fawzia Abu Saad, Head of the Pediatric Nursing Department. Today, Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 10 a.m., an educational symposium was held at the Child Care and Development Center (University Nursery), where assist. Prof. Dr/ Rehab Abdel Aziz and Dr/ Ghada Gamal spoke about the impact of climate change on children’s health, and all questions were answered. The symposium was well received by the attendance, and they all praised the lecturers and the content of the symposium.

Prof. Dr/ Fawzia El-Sayed Abu Saad, Head Pediatric Nursing department, met today, Sunday, 22 October, 2023, in the College Council Hall,
