Definition of the department

This section focuses on the application of nursing process and problem-solving method in the nursing of critically ill patients and the care of their families in emergencies. Also, the information and skills gained through this section enable students to provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency patients.

The Department teaches the first, second and fourth year, the Technical Health Institute, the Faculty of Kindergarten and the Pre-Masters of Critical Care Nursing.
The department evaluates students by using modern assessment methods such as:
OSCE
The department teaches students by using problem solving to improve patient handling and medical care such as PB.

• Effect of Intravenous Catheter Placement on Venous Pressure Reading and the Risk of Complications in Critically Ill Patient.
